Nicholas Dagen Bloom

Nicholas Dagen Bloom is a professor of Urban Policy and Planning at Hunter College and acting chair of the department. His research examines the long-term planning outcomes in essential urban systems, including subsidized housing and mass transportation. He is the author of “The Great American Transit Disaster: A Century of Austerity, Auto-Centric Planning, and White Flight (Chicago, 2023).”
