TIGER II Grants to Be Announced Next Week
Applicants for the U.S. DOT’s TIGER II grants are on pins and needles awaiting a decision… and even awaiting a decision about when there might be a decision.
Rumors have been flying around that the awardees would be announced today, but the DOT press office said that won’t be happening.
One DOT source told Streetsblog that Secretary Ray LaHood would be signing the notification letters today, meaning decisions have been made. But no advisory has gone out and there is no press availability on Secretary LaHood’s schedule. Our source said to look for an announcement in the middle of next week.
LaHood will be appearing at events around the country to promote the winners.
